Tabwise helps students in India find a tablet for handwritten notes, PDF annotation and diagrams. It is a student subject project, built around a small, sourced catalog.
Start with the complete cost
A low tablet price can hide an expensive pen. Our finder counts the selected tablet variant and its named compatible active pen together. Bundles are labelled as bundles; a generic capacitive stylus does not qualify.
Prices are dated reference observations in INR. They exclude card offers and trade-ins, and do not guarantee current stock or delivery to your postcode. Check the seller before buying.
How the finder chooses
- Keep configurations with documented active-pen compatibility, palm rejection and a usable complete price. Exclude unavailable or historical-only offers and unresolved evidence conflicts.
- Filter by your total budget, then select the cheapest qualifying configuration for each tablet.
- Order the remaining tablets by your screen-space or portability preference and study activities. Show up to three distinct models, with lower cost breaking ties.
A roomy screen means at least 12 inches. A lighter tablet means its listed upper weight is at most 525g, excluding the case and pen. PDFs favor roomier screens; diagrams also favor documented pen pressure sensitivity. Notes favor a bundled pen and a lighter tablet. Your size preference has the strongest priority.
If no setup fits, we show the catalog's minimum complete cost and let you edit your answers. Size is a preference: any smaller or heavier fallback is labelled.
Where the information comes from
Our research covers 15 models across Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi/Redmi, OnePlus, Motorola and Lenovo. Ten currently qualify for the finder. Manufacturer documentation supplies specifications and compatibility; retailers supply dated prices and availability observations; independent reviewers supply attributed usage observations.
We have not tested the tablets firsthand. A review of one pen, app or regional variant does not establish how every other combination behaves. Result cards identify those conditions and link to their sources. Unknown information stays unknown.
These are documentation-based preference rules, not trained machine learning or objective product-quality scores. Battery capacity alone is not treated as measured battery life.
What is stored
The catalog is prepared before publication. Your answers are processed in your browser; Tabwise does not save or send them to a server. Theme preference is saved on your device. Product images load from manufacturer websites, and purchase links open the relevant external seller.
